Brain: Focus on the screen. Read something. Anything.
Body: I read “performance metrics”… now I feel sleepy.
Heart: I feel something else…

Heart (panicking): THIS IS IT.
Brain: Calm down. It’s probably just another colleague.
Body: I didn’t sign up for emotional cardio.

Heart: What if… it’s them?
Brain: From where?? Parallel universe??

Camera is off. Mic is muted. Identity unknown.

Heart: Mystery. I like this.
Brain: This is not a thriller. It’s a budget review meeting.
Body: Wake me up when it ends.

Heart: …

Body: …

Heart (whispering): That voice.
Brain: It’s… normal?
Heart: No… it’s different.
Body: It’s speaking English. Very different.

Heart: I think it’s them.
Brain: You think everyone is “them.”
Heart: Not like this.

Brain: Ask a question. Verify reality.
Body: Do not drag me into this.

Manager: “Any questions?”

Internal Panic Returns

Brain: Ask something smart.
Heart: Ask their name.
Brain: This is not a dating show.

You (unmuting): “Yeah… just wanted to clarify the timeline…”

Heart: WHY are we talking about timelines when destiny is on the call??
Brain: Because we need salary.

Heart (melting): They answered us.
Brain: They answered the question. Not us.
Body: I am tired of both of you.

Body: All of them sound like work.
