Just Google It - How to Wake Up Early (This Time for Real) - Part 2

Riya sat on her bed, blanket wrapped around her like emotional support.

Yesterday was a failure.

A small failure.
Okay… a slightly embarrassing, face-on-the-floor kind of failure.

But today?

Today was different.

Because today, she had a better plan.

She opened her phone with determination.

Search: “How to wake up early successfully (even if you failed before)”

This time, she didn’t just click the first link.

No.

She opened five tabs.

Research mode.

Method 1: Drink Water Before Sleeping 💧

“Your body will wake you up naturally.”

Riya nodded.

“Smart. Very smart.”

She drank two full bottles of water.

Her confidence increased.

Her bladder… silently took notes.

Method 2: Keep Alarm Far Away ⏰

“Place your phone across the room.”

“Of course!” she said.

“No snoozing. No laziness. Only discipline.”

She placed her phone on the table far from her bed.

Stared at it.

Then stared at her bed.

“This is going to hurt,” she whispered.

Method 3: Sleep with Motivation 🎧

“Listen to motivational speeches while sleeping.”

She searched:

“Wake up at 5AM and conquer the world motivation”

A loud voice filled her room—

“SUCCESS DOES NOT SLEEP!”

Riya flinched.

“…It should,” she muttered.

Still, she let it play.

Because success.

Method 4: Visualize Your Future 🌟

She closed her eyes.

Imagined herself waking up early.

Drinking green tea.

Doing yoga.

Smiling peacefully as sunlight touched her face.

Birds chirping.

Life perfect.

She smiled.

“This is my life now.”

Reality Check

At 3:12 a.m., she was still awake.

Listening to a man yelling about success.

Her stomach sloshing with water.

Her phone staring at her from across the room like a distant enemy.

“Okay,” she said.

“Now I sleep.”

The Morning

At exactly 5:00 a.m., the alarm rang.

LOUD.

Riya’s eyes flew open.

For one glorious second—

She remembered her dream.

Her goals.

Her new life.

Then reality entered.

She looked at the phone.

Far away.

Very far away.

“I can do this,” she whispered.

She sat up.

Stood up.

Took one step.

Then another.

This was it.

Victory.

Discipline.

Success—

Her brain interrupted:

“You slept at 3:30.”

She paused.

Turned around.

Looked at her bed.

Soft. Warm. Loyal.

“I deserve rest,” she said respectfully.

And went back to sleep.

7:58 a.m.

Her eyes snapped open.

“Oh no. NO NO NO—”

She jumped out of bed.

Ran to the table.

Picked up her phone.

Search:
“Is waking up early really necessary for success?”

She read the first line:

👉 “Not everyone needs to wake up early. Success depends on productivity, not timing.”

Riya froze.

“…Excuse me?”

She sat down slowly.

“So yesterday you said 5 a.m.”

“Today you’re saying… sleep?”

She narrowed her eyes.

“Google… are you confused or am I?”

She thought for a moment.

Then nodded.

“Okay. New plan.”

She opened a fresh page in her notebook.

✨ Updated Life Plan ✨

  • Wake up early (optional)
  • Be productive (somehow)
  • Don’t fall on floor
  • Drink less water at night

She looked at it.

Satisfied.

“Progress,” she said proudly.

Then her stomach made a sound.

A very serious sound.

She froze.

“…Oh no.”

And suddenly,
Method 1: Drink Water Before Sleeping
felt like the biggest mistake of her life.

She grabbed her phone and ran.

Search (while running):
“How to survive drinking too much water at night”

Somewhere between panic and regret,
Riya realized something important—

Every solution came with…
its own problem.

But still…

She smiled.

“Okay Google,” she said,

“Let’s try again tomorrow.”
