Just Google It - How to Fix Your Life in 5 Easy Steps - Part 1
The problem started at 2:13 a.m.
Not the big problem.
That one had been building for years.
This one was smaller. Simpler. More dangerous.
It started with a search.
Riya stared at her phone, face glowing in the dark like she had just discovered the meaning of life.
Search: “Why does my life feel like a mess?”
She scrolled.
Skipped ads. Ignored anything longer than 5 minutes.
Then she found it.
✨ “How to Fix Your Life in 5 Easy Steps”
Her eyes widened.
“Five steps?” she whispered. “That’s it? That’s all it takes?!”
She sat up.
This was it.
The moment everything changes.
Step 1: Wake Up Early 🌅
“Successful people wake up at 5 a.m.”
Riya nodded seriously.
“Correct. Makes sense. I will also wake up at 5 a.m. from tomorrow.”
She set six alarms:
- 5:00 – Wake up and shine
- 5:05 – No seriously, wake up
- 5:10 – THIS IS YOUR LIFE
- 5:15 – Don’t ruin your future
- 5:20 – Last warning
- 5:30 – Okay, now panic
Satisfied, she placed the phone beside her.
“New life begins tomorrow,” she declared… and immediately opened another tab.
Step 2: Be Confident 💃
Search: “How to be confident instantly”
She clicked the first result.
- Stand straight
- Maintain eye contact
- Speak clearly
- Believe in yourself
Riya stood up.
Shoulders back. Chin up.
“Hello, I am a confident person,” she said to the mirror.
Her reflection stared back like it had concerns.
She tried again.
“HELLO. I. AM. CONFIDENT.”
Her mom knocked on the door.
“Why are you shouting at 2:30 in the night?!”
Riya froze.
Confidence left the chat.
Step 3: Plan Your Day 📋
“Write down your goals.”
Riya grabbed a notebook.
At the top, she wrote:
✨ My New Life Plan ✨
- Wake up at 5 a.m.
- Exercise
- Eat healthy
- Be confident
- Impress boss
- Become successful
- Be happy always
She paused.
“Wow,” she said. “This is… very easy.”
Step 4: Sleep Early 😴
She checked the time.
3:07 a.m.
“…Okay, from tomorrow.”
Step 5: Believe in the Process 🌟
Riya smiled.
“This is it. I have officially fixed my life.”
She turned off the lights, closed her eyes, and whispered,
“Thank you, Google.”
The Next Morning
At 5:00 a.m., the first alarm rang.
Riya opened one eye.
“Too early for success,” she murmured, and went back to sleep.
At 5:05 a.m.—dismissed.
At 5:10 a.m.—ignored.
At 5:15 a.m.—accidentally thrown across the bed.
At 5:30 a.m.—silence.
At 9:47 a.m., she woke up in panic.
“OH MY GOD I’M LATE!”
She jumped out of bed, tripped on her own blanket, and fell.
Face first.
On the floor.
She lay there for a moment.
Then slowly reached for her phone.
Search:
“How to wake up early successfully (even if you failed before)”
She sighed.
“Okay… maybe just one more try.”
And just like that,
her new life… restarted.
